As Councilman, Chuddy Whalen has worked to keep Hamilton affordable for our seniors on fixed incomes and increased funding for our senior center to ensure they have access to essential transportation for medical appointments and everyday needs. As our senior community continues to grow, we need a leader who is prepared to provide them the services they need.

By working to redevelop underutilized commercial properties we can stabilize property taxes and generate career employment opportunities and good paying jobs for our local residents.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Councilman Chuddy Whalen has worked to help secure and provide personal protective equipment(PPE) to residents and business to keep them safe. On Council he worked to help consolidate the fire districts, while fully funding our police department and invested in critical life-saving equipment.

Our local businesses here in Hamilton are the backbone of our community. Councilman Chuddy Whalen has worked with Hamilton’s Economic Development team and Mayor Jeff Martin to help support local businesses to ensure they not only survive during the COVID-19 crisis but will thrive in the future.

As a member and business administrator of the Local 9 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Chuddy understands the importance and impact that local jobs have on our families and community. When our residents have good-paying jobs our local economy and our local businesses benefit.
